Projects Completed

2005. ICPower has had first-pass success in delivering a variety of switching and linear power circuits. Applications have ranged from highly-integrated multipurpose ICs to compact dedicated driver ICs. Recent circuit experience includes

  • Two active bias chips for RF power amplifiers, with digitally programmable serial interface, for GSM and GSM-Edge cell phones *
  • Static bias chip for RF power amplifiers for GSM cell phones *
  • Integrated synchronous rectifier driver IC, with linear regulator and selectable bidirectional inductor current sense and resistor current sense for point-of-load power delivery *

2004. ICPower led and contributed to the design of ICs for a wide variety of end applications. With responsibilities ranging from circuit design, to behavioral modeling and IC verification, to lab characterization of packaged and bare die parts, ICPower proved its diverse expertise.

  • Controller chip for intelligent inkjet printer heads with fire drivers, head prewarmers, data acquisition circuitry, and digital core
  • Squib driver IC for automotive airbag deployment *
  • Two highly-integrated multiple-output power management ICs with switching buck and linear regulators, battery charger, audio input/output, LED display drivers, USB controller, selectable SPI/I2C interface, and digital core
  • Highly-integrated mini-USB driver IC with battery charger for bidirectional current handling, USB controller, and selectable SPI/I2C serial interface
  • Highly-integrated multiple-output power management IC with switching buck and boost and linear regulators, LED display drivers, SPI serial interface, and digital core
  • Synchronous rectifier driver IC with integrated high-side NFET, adaptive non-overlap phase timing, and tri-level control input *
